Polar Express: An IMAX Experience

This event, held at the Carnegie Science Center, provided a fun day for families coping with children's chronic illneses. The "experience" included a hot breakfast and a tour of the Miniature Railroad & Village®.

Izzie's Dash for Organ Donation

Izzie's Dash for Organ Donation was held in North Boundary Park, Cranberry Township, to celebrate the "Gift of Life" and to raise awareness for the need for organ donation. The walk provided an opportunity to honor someone affected by organ donation whether they were a transplant candidate, a recipient, or a donor family. The event also included kids activities and a silent auction with great prizes.
Miracle League Spring Clean-up

Izzie's Gifts of Hope Foundation elected to perform community service for the Miracle League Spring Clean-up and Planting which was part of the Kohl's Cares® program. Izzie's Gifts has volunteered at the Miracle League Field in Cranberry Township (Pennsylvania) since it was constructed. There are many families with children who have chronic illnesses who play baseball there and the field has a plaque dedicated to Izzie as the first "Angel in the Outfield." awarded a grant for doing a green project in the community.

Shrine Circus

As part of the foundation's mission to enrich the lives of children and families with chronic illnesses, Izzie's GIfts provided tickets to familes for the Shrine CIrcus and gift cards to purchase food while at the event.
Mud Pie Pottery Event

Izzie's Gifts invited families to an outing at Mud Pie--Paint Your Own Pottery in Cranberry Township, PA where they chose pottery to decorate. Lunch and snacks also were provided.
